--a box or canvas bag to carry it all.

Overview of Instruction:

The still life can be thought of as a small landscape; the same concerns present themselves:
composition, spacial clarity, light, color, etc. I will show a slide presentation of various painter's approach to the subject, and set up a still life for the first two meetings. Students will bring their own still life objects for the last two meetings, either by themselves or collaborating in groups. (Actual objects are preferable to photographs for these exerci
ses.)
